West Liberty (WV) University jumped out to big leads in both ends of Tuesday's doubleheader in Clermont, Fla. and went on to sweep the Pitt-Johnstown softball team 11-1 and 10-2.Â
Marley Elbin had three hits in game one for Pitt-Johnstown, which slipped to 0-4.

In the opener, the Hilltoppers scored 11 runs on 11 hits off of Pitt-Johnstown's
Melissa Wagner (0-2) on their way to the 11-1 victory.

Elbin went 3-for-3, while
Karlie Tomich had an RBI double to account for Pitt-Johnstown's only run.Â
Taylor Hoover and
Kayla Luprek also had base hits for Pitt-Johnstown.

In game two, West Liberty scored five runs off of both
Rachel Hoffman and
Emily Moore in the 10-1 win.

Hoffman allowed five runs on six hits and struck out six over the first three innings, and suffered the loss to fall to 0-2. Moore pitched the final 2.2 innings and surrendered five runs on six hits.

Stephanie Seibert had an RBI single for Pitt-Johnstown, while

Shannon Wittig, Elbin, and Tomich all collected hits.
