th-ranked Millersville University, but the Marauders answered with a hat trick from Jaime Vazquez late in the second half for a 3-2 PSAC victory over the Pitt-Johnstown men's soccer team, Wednesday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field. The Mountain Cats fell to 0-7-0 overall and 0-3-0 in conference-play.
Haven Mackie opened scoring for Pitt-Johnstown five minutes into the game, sending the ball past Millersville keeper Kohl Orner off of a cross to the far side of the box from
Matt Kinney. The Mountain Cats led 1-0 at the end of the first half.

Matt Kinney finished a long goal kick to the top of the box from Pitt-Johnstown keeper
Nate Kleya.
With ten minutes left in regulation time, Jaime Vazquez put Millersville on the board with a goal off of a free kick from Ben Johnston.
Vazquez rebounded the ball into the back of the net with an assist from Marcus Frangakis in the 88
th minute to tie the game 2-2.
It was Vazquez again just seconds later, finishing a through ball from teammate Christopher Sosa to score the game winning goal and secure a 3-2 win for the Marauders.
Kleya suffered the loss in goal for the Mountain Cats after facing 28 Millersville shots and making 11 saves.
Kohl Orner earned the win in goal for the Marauders after seeing six shots and making one save. Millersville is now 6-0-1 overall and 4-0-0 in the PSAC.
The Mountain Cats continue a stretch of home matches on Tuesday September 29 at 4 p.m. with a conference match against Seton Hill University, followed by a non-conference match against Washington Adventist (MD) University on October 2 at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field. Â Â
