California University (PA) broke open a one-goal halftime lead with five goals in a second half to defeat the Mountain Cat soccer team, 6-1, Wednesday night in California.Â

Lucas Exner earned the win for California (PA), which improved to 8-5-1 overall and 4-4-1 in the PSAC. Exner faced nine Mountain Cats shots, allowed one goal and made three saves.

Pitt-Johnstown will host a PSAC match against Gannon on Saturday at 1 p.m. and a non-conference match against Roberts Wesleyan (NY) on Wednesday. Both matches will be played at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
