Niki Cognigni her first career victory with a 7-6 victory over Edinboro University, Sunday night in Clermont, Fla.

Pitt-Johnstown trailed 6-2, before exploding for five runs in the top of the sixth inning.

Ashley Shorr led off the sixth with a double, Pitt-Johnstown loaded the bases with no one out.Â
Marley Elbin's single drove in Shorr,
Taylor Hoover walked with the bases loaded, and
Montana Mang's 2-RBI base hit knotted it at six.

Pitt-Johnstown then took the lead with what turned out to be the game-winning run when Hoover scored from third on a passed ball.

Emily Moore picked-up the win in a complete-game effort, including holding the Fighting Scots scoreless over the final two innings. Moore surrendered six runs on eight hits.

Mang finished with a single, a double, and a pair of RBI, while
Morgan Cannin had two hits, including a double.   Elbin singled and drew two walks for Pitt-Johnstown.

Pitt-Johnstown continues its Spring Trip in Florida with single games against University of Mount Olive (NC) on Monday, and Upper Iowa University and Post (CT) University on Tuesday.Â
