Upper Iowa scored two runs in the third inning, then added a solo homerun in the sixth to defeat the Pitt-Johnstown softball team, 3-0, Tuesday afternoon in Clermont, Fla.  Allessa Morrison had two hits for Pitt-Johnstown, which dropped to 1-3.
 
Morrison went 2-for-3 to lead Pitt-Johnstown, while Ashley Shor, Montana Mang, and Morgan Cannin were all 1-for-3 in the loss.
 
Melissa Wagner took the loss and slipped to 0-3 after allowing three runs on six hits.  Wagner also fanned seven in a complete-game effort.
 
Upper Iowa improved to 11-7.
