Two Second Half Goals Push Warriors Past Mountain Cats

3108East Stroudsburg broke open a scoreless game with two second half goals on its way to a 2-0 PSAC victory over the Mountain Cat soccer team, Saturday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field. The Mountain Cats slipped to 0-3-0 overall and 0-2-0 in conference play.
 
After more than 65 minutes of scoreless soccer, the Warriors' Christian Bukowski scored on a cross into the box in the 67th minute. Ten minutes later, East Stroudsburg added an insurance goal from Brandon Levano's penalty kick to set the final at 2-0.
 
Pitt-Johnstown's goalkeeper Nate Kleya faced 24 shots, allowing two goals. Kleya also had nine saves. East Stroudsburg's goalkeeper Will Boerema faced 11 shots and made two saves in the shutout victory.

With the win the Warriors improve to 1-2-0 and 1-1-0 in the PSAC.
 
The Mountain Cats will host a PSAC match against Shippensburg on Tuesday at 4:00 PM, before traveling to Wheeling Jesuit (WV) for a non-conference match on Saturday.
