After the Lady Cats took the opening set 25-17, Tampa went on the seal the victory with 25-19, 25-23 and 25-15 wins.

Along with Wierman,
Maura Brehl had eight kills and 10 digs, and
Marissa Erminio added seven kills and six digs for the Lady Cats.

Pitt-Johnstown also got 31 set assists, three block assists, and 12 digs from
Allison Mondorff.Â
Devan Orr, who earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team, had a match-high 20 digs.

Tampa, which improved to 2-1, was led by Allee Stelogeannis's match-high 19 kills and Katie McKiel's 11 kills.

Pitt-Johnstown travels to the University of Findlay (OH) Classic on Friday and Saturday, before traveling to the Notre Dame (OH)/Ursuline (OH) Classic on September 16 and 17.
