Allison Rizzo, and
Lyndsey Weiser.Saturday evening during a PSAC doubleheader against Indiana University (PA) at V.E. Erickson Complex. Game one is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
Pitt-Johnstown began its varsity softball program in 2015. Saturday will mark the first graduating class for the softball team.
Prior to Friday's home games against Bloomsburg, Pitt-Johnstown, 14-20 overall and 3-13 in the PSAC Central Division, split a doubleheader with Clarion and suffered a pair of losses at Lock Haven last weekend.
Taylor Hoover and
McKenna Kern each hit home runs, and
Melissa Wagner threw a two-hitter to lead Pitt-Johnstown to a 7-2 win over Clarion in Friday's opening game.
Head Coach Bill Graham's (7
th season) IUP Crimson Hawks were 21-16 overall and 10-6 in the PSAC Central before Friday's home doubleheader against Mansfield. Prior to that, IUP swept Clarion, 9-0 and 9-3, last Saturday.
On April 10, Pitt-Johnstown traveled to IUP and were dealt a pair of conference losses. The Crimson Hawks took the opener, 9-1, before completing the sweep with a 4-2 victory in the nightcap.
