Cambria Wierman added 10 kills to help the Pitt-Johnstown women's volleyball team improve to 3-0 with a 3-sets-to-1 victory over Truman (MO) University in Saturday's Third Round of the Ashland (OH) University/Quality Inn Tournament.

The Mountain Cats cruised to a 25-17 win in the opening set, but Truman answered with a 25-22 win in the second set. However, Pitt-Johnstown closed out the win with a pair of 25-20 wins in the final two sets.

Erminio collected a match-high 17 kills and had 20 digs, while Wierman had 10 kills, three blocks, and 12 digs to lead the Mountain Cats.Â
Noelle Carota had nine kills and a pair of blocks, while
Kendall Mahony finished with seven kills, four blocks, and three service aces.

Pitt-Johnstown also got 23 assists and six digs from
J.C. Longeville and 19 assists and 11 digs from
Allison Mondorff.Â
Devan Orr had a match-high 23 digs, five assists, and a service ace.

Jocelynn Livingston and Jasmine Brown led the way for Truman with 12 and 10 kills respectively.

With the loss, Truman dropped to 0-3 to being the season.
