
The Pitt-Johnstown Men's soccer team dropped a home-conference match to Shippensburg University Saturday afternoon. The Mountain Cats fell to 2-9-0 overall and 0-6-0 in the PSAC. Shippensburg improved to 9-2-0 and 5-1-0 in the conference.

JJ Saukko kicked the scoring off in the 10
th minute when he scored off a rebound. In the 13
th minute Cole Kropnick scored his 11
th goal of the season assisted by Collin Marks. Right before halftime, Erik Espinoza made it, 3-0. Assisted by Kropnick.

Shippensburg added on to their lead in the 63
rd minute when Justin Bluber found Oewen Lacobelli on the cross.

Jonathan Reboton took the loss in net for the Mountain cats and was relieved by
Josh Zakrzewski in the 64
th minute. The two combined to face 23 shots, make eight saves and allow four goals.

Bradley Brickman got the start and win in net for Shippensburg and was relieve dby Garret Wilson in the 29
th minute. The two combined to shutout Pitt-Johnstown.

The Mountain Cats return to action Friday afternoon when they host East Stroudsburg at the Pitt-Johnstown soccer field.
