The Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats softball team fell to the Trevecca Nazarene
Trojans Friday afternoon, 13-1. The Mountain Cats fell to 2-6 on the season while the Trojans improved to 12-5.

The Trojan's did most of their damage in the second inning when they scored eight runs. They continued swinging a hot bat in the third inning when they increased their lead to 13-0.

The Mountain Cats added a run in the seventh inning when
Stacey Walling singled and moved into scoring position on a passed ball.
Kristie Radvan knocked her in with an RBI single to make it 13-1.

The Mountain Cats were led by Walling who finished the game 2-for-2 and Radvan who went 1-for-2 with an RBI.
Morgan Cannin and
Jade Stubblefield each finished the day going 1-for-3.

Ashley Pagliei took the loss for the Mountain Cats. Pagliei finished with 1 2/3 innings pitched, giving up five runs on six hits and striking out one.

Samantha Frey relieved her, pitching 1/3 of the inning giving up six runs on eight hits and striking out one. Radvan finished the game for the Mountain Cats giving up two runs on four hits and striking out one.

The Mountain Cats return to action Saturday Morning when they take on Merrimack (MA) college and Hillsdale (MI) College, before going on the road against Gannon University March 17.
