After suffering a 6-3 loss in Saturday's first game of a season-ending doubleheader at Point Stadium, Pitt-Johnstown erased an early 5-0 deficit in the nightcap and came away with a 7-6 victory to secure a Senior Day split with 12
th-ranked Mercyhurst. The Mountain Cats closed out the 2018 season at 12-30 overall and 9-19 in the PSAC West.

In the opener, Drew Delsignore's three-run homer in the top of the seventh broke a 3-3 tie and propelled Mercyhurst to the 6-3 victory.

Ben Foose led off the Mountain Cat second inning with a solo home run to center, and
Nemo Trexler's two-out single to right scored
Nico Pecora to Put Pitt-Johnstown up 2-0.

Mercyhurst cut it to 2-1 in the third on a double steal, but the Mountain cats got it right back when
Tyler Smith scored from third on a wild pitch.

Daniel Elliott's sacrifice fly and Jack Elliott's RBI double in the Mercyhurst sixth tied it at three.

Mercyhurst then got a two-out, three-run homer from Delsignore in the top of the seventh off of Mountain Cat reliever
Braxton Roxby to go in front 6-3.

Roxby took the loss after allowing three runs on one hit in one inning in relief of starter
Dylan Heid. Heid Held Mercyhurst to just three runs on his hits over the first six innings. Heid also struck out a career-high 12 and walked just one.

Foose homered and Trexler singled and drove in one to pace Pitt-Johnstown.

In game two, Pitt-Johnstown fell behind 5-0 after three innings, but the Mountain Cat rallied for seven runs and the bullpen held the Lakers to just one run over the final four innings.

Michael Montalbano gave the Lakers an early lead with a three-run homer to left in the top of the first, before Mercyhurst added two unearned runs in the third to make it 5-0.

Pitt-Johnstown cut it to 5-2 in the bottom of the inning on a
Dan Clark sacrifice fly and
Tyler Smith's RBI single.

Five more runs in the Mountain Cat fourth gave Pitt-Johnstown a 7-5 lead. Mercyhurst narrowed it to 7-6 with a run in the fifth off of Supanick, but
Brad Coleman and
Camden Hess held the Lakers scoreless the rest of the way.

Supanick got the win in relief of starter
Joel Colledge. Supanick allowed one run on two hits in two inning of work. Colledge pitched one inning and gave up three runs on two hits. Hess got the save in a perfect seventh inning.

Cook and Smith each had two hits and an RBI, while Prickett double for Pitt-Johnstown. Clark, Foose, and Trexler also drove in runs for the Mountain Cats.

With the split, Mercyhurst is now 30-11 overall and finished conference-play at 20-8.
