The Pitt-Johnstown men's and women's soccer teams will host a PSAC doubleheader against Mercyhurst University, Sunday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field. The Mountain Cats will take on the Lakers at noon, with the women's match to follow at 2:30 p.m.

After a 3-0 home win over Penn State-New Kensington on Sept. 8,
Coach Eric Kinsey's Mountain Cats suffered a 4-0 PSAC loss at Gannon on Sept. 12 and a 6-0 conference loss at Lock Haven last Saturday. Friday's match at West Chester is not reflected in the team's record.
Third-year
Coach Nenad Vidakovic's Mercyhurst Lakers were 2-1-2 overall and 0-0-2 in the PSAC prior to Friday's match at Bloomsburg. Mercyhurst began conference-play with a 2-2 draw with Seton Hill on Sept. 12 and a 2-2 draw at West Chester last Saturday.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to non-conference matches at Washington Adventist on Friday and Shepherd next Sunday and to a PSAC match at Slippery Rock on October 3. Pitt-Johnstown return home on October 6 to host a conference match against Shippensburg at noon.

First-year
Coach Vito Addalli's Mountain Cats, 3-4-0 overall and 3-3-0 in the PSAC, are coming off of a 2-0 conference loss at Lock Haven on Saturday and a 1-0 non-conference loss to Wheeling Jesuit (WV) on Monday. Friday's match at fifth-ranked West Chester is not included in Pitt-Johnstown's record.
Mercyhurst, under first-year
Coach Jon Arlet, is 3-3-0 overall and 1-3-0 in the PSAC after last Saturday's 4-0 loss at West Chester and Tuesday's 3-0 non-conference win over Daemen (NY). Friday's match against Bloomsburg is not included in Mercyhurst's record.
Last season,
Anja Corte scored two goals in the first five minutes of the match to lead Mercyhurst to a 3-1 victory in Erie on September 24.
Brooke Vollmer accounted for Pitt-Johnstown's lone goal.
Pitt-Johnstown hosts a PSAC match against Clarion on Wednesday at 4:00, before traveling to a conference match at Slippery Rock on October 3.
