Morgan Cannin and
Olivia Porter each had two hits, but the University of Sioux Falls (SD) came away with a 7-0 victory on Saturday that closed out Pitt-Johnstown's Spring Trip to Clermont, Fla. The Mountain Cats went 5-5 on the trip.
Emily Hove's solo home run and a sacrifice fly from Emily Miller scored Lexie Swift to give Sioux Falls an early 2-0 first inning lead.
Swift then belted a two-run homer in third to increase the lead to 4-0, and the Cougars went on to add three more runs in the 7-0 victory.

Cannin went 2-for-4 with a double, and porter was 2-for-4 for Pitt-Johnstown. The Mountain Cats also got hits from
Jade Stubblefield, who was Division II's leader in hitting at .643 through March 14,
Kristie Radvan,
Alyssa Hileman, and
Sydney Flinn.
Radvan pitched a complete game, but took the loss in the circle for the Mountain Cats after allowing seven runs on eight hits, while striking out three.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to Millersville for a non-conference doubleheader on Wednesday, before making its home debut with non-conference doubleheaders against Edinboro on Saturday and Shippensburg on March 24 at V.E. Erickson Complex. Both home doubleheaders are scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
