Pitt-Johnstown sophomore outfielder/designated hitter
Jade Stubblefield was selected as the PSAC Central Division Softball Player of the Week by the conference office on Monday after hitting .591 with two home runs and 10 RBI in eight games in Clermont, Fla. last week.
Stubblefield, who helped Pitt-Johnstown post a 5-3 record last week, went 13-22 at the plate with 10 RBI, five runs, two home runs, five doubles, and 3 walks.
Last Monday, Stubblefield, who was leading NCAA Division II in hitting at .643 based on games played through March 14, was 3-for-3 against Notre Dame (OH) and 2-for-2 against Kutztown to complete a perfect 5-for-5 day.
She went 2-for-4 with a homer, a double and four RBI in the Mountain Cats' 7-2 victory over New York Institute of Technology on Thursday, before belting her second home run of the week and driving in three in a 3-1 victory over Ferris State (Mich.) on Friday.
