The Pitt-Johnstown softball team will wrap-up its 2019 home schedule and celebrate Senior Day with a PSAC Central Division doubleheader against Mansfield on Saturday starting at 5 p.m. at V.E. Erickson Complex.

The Mountain Cats, come in at 18-16 overall and 8-8 in the PSAC Central Division under
Coach Niki Cognigni-Pecora. Pitt-Johnstown is coming off of a 6-0 and 9-5 conference sweep at Clarion on Wednesday.Â
Kristen Coffay pitched a two-hit shutout in the opener, and
Kristie Radvan collected four hits and drove in three to lead the Mountain Cats. Friday's PSAC doubleheader at IUP was postponed until Sunday due to weather.
Coach Edith Gallagher's Mansfield squad, 15-12 overall and 9-6 in the PSAC, had its Friday doubleheader against Bloomsburg postponed due to rain. The Mounties earned a 3-2 win over IUP on Tuesday, before game two was halted due to weather with the Crimson Hawks leading 4-0 in the fifth inning.
On April 6, Pitt-Johnstown traveled to Mansfield and dealt the Mounties 4-2 and 11-1 losses.Â
Radvan had two hits, while
Olivia Porter and
Jade Stubblefield each had a hit and an RBI for the Mountain Cats in the opener. Radvan added three more hits and an RBI, and Porter belted a three-run home run for Pitt-Johnstown in the nightcap.
The Mountain Cats close out the 2019 regular season with a PSAC Central doubleheader at IUP on Sunday at 2 p.m., before finding out if the program earns is first PSAC Tournament berth.
