The Pitt-Johnstown softball team returns home to host a pair of PSAC Central games against Bloomsburg University, Sunday afternoon at V.E. Erickson Complex. Game one is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., with game two to follow at approximately 3 p.m.
Pitt-Johnstown and Bloomsburg were both scheduled to play on Saturday. Those games are not reflected in either team's record.
Pitt-Johnstown, 10-10 overall and 2-2 in the PSAC Central Division, opened conference-play with a pair of tough losses at Lock Haven on March 29, but bounced back by sweeping Clarion last Saturday.Â
Head Coach Niki Cognigni-Pecora's Mountain Cats dealt the Golden eagles a 5-1 loss in game one, before completing the sweep with a 9-1 victory in five innings.Â

Ashley Pagliei tossed a one-hitter in the circle.
Bloomsburg, under ninth-year
Head coach Susan Kocher, has won its last five games and comes in at 14-11 overall and 3-1 in the PSAC Central Division. The Huskies swept Bloomfield 9-1 and 7-2 on Wednesday.
Last season, Bloomsburg won all four games against Pitt-Johnstown. On April 14, the Huskies won a pair of 8-0 games, before completing the sweep in Johnstown on April 28 with a pair of 4-0 victories.

Pitt-Johnstown will host a non-conference doubleheader against Salem (WV) University on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at V.E. Erickson Complex, before hosting PSAC doubleheaders against Indiana (PA) on Friday at Lock Haven on Saturday.
