Caitlin Vrabel had 12 kills and
Grace Miller added 10 kills in a five-set Pitt-Johnstown victory over Urbana (OH) University in Saturday's final round of the Lake Erie (OH) College Tri-Match in Painesville, Ohio. The Mountain Cats made is six straight wins and improved to 7-2.
Pitt-Johnstown took the first two sets 25-19 and 25-17, but the Blue Knights answered with 25-14 and 25-15 wins to force a fifth set. In that set, the Mountain Cats held off Urbana 15-13.
Vrabel had 12 kills and four blocks, and Miller had 10 kills and a pair of blocks for the Mountain Cats. Pitt-Johnstown also got nine kills, seven digs, three service aces,

and two blocks from
Jaden Gray and seven kills, three aces, and two blocks from
Cassie Pascarella.
Anna Johns added four kills and four blocks.
Pitt-Johnstown's
J.C. Longeville led the way with 32 set assists and 14 digs, while
Erin Carmody had a match-high 26 digs.
Urbana, which fell to 3-6 on the season, was led by Hana Delor's match-high 19 kills. Maggie Burns had 13 kills and Lexi Reinert had 11 kills for the Blue Knights.
Pitt-Johnstown will open its home schedule with PSAC matches against Shepherd (WV) on Friday at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center and Shippensburg on Saturday at 1 p.m.
