
The University of Charleston scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to take the opener of a 3-game series in Charleston, W.Va., 3-2, before securing a 17-1 in game two of Sunday's doubleheader.

Wil Fetrow, and
Isaiah Kearns all drove in a run for the Mountain Cats, now 8-2 on the year.
In the opener, Pitt-Johnstown held a 2-1 lead for five innings, but the Golden Eagles struck for two runs in the bottom of the seventh to earn the 3-2 win.
Broderick doubled and drove in a run, while Fetrow had a hit and an RBI for the Mountain Cats.
Ben Briggs took the loss and slipped to 0-1 after allowing a run on one hit in relief of starter
Dylan Heid. Heid pitched the first 6-plus innings and held Charleston to two runs on three hits. Heid also struck out eight and walked four.
In game two, Charleston opened-up a 9-1 lead after three innings and went on to the 17-1 victory.
Lennox Pugh collected two hits, and Kearns added an RBI double for Pitt-Johnstown.
Braxton Roxby allowed eight runs on six hits over the first 2 2/3 innings to fall to 1-1.
Pitt-Johnstown wraps-up the three-game series at Charleston with a 9-inning game on Monday, before make its 2020 home debut with a pair of non-conference doubleheaders against West Liberty (WV) on Saturday and Sunday at Point Stadium.
