Giesey took the loss for the Mountain Cats after seeing 19 Gannon shots. Giesey allowed both goals and made five saves.
Kennedy Solymosi earned the win in goal for the Golden Knights. Solymosi faced four Pitt-Johnstown shots, allowed one goal, and made a pair of saves to help Gannon improve to 5-2-2 overall and 5-2-2 in conference-play.
The Mountain Cats return home to host PSAC matches against Slippery Rock on Wednesday at 4 p.m. and Clarion on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
