The 21^st-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers set the tone early with a pair of major decision wins to start on its way to a lopsided, 42-0, PSAC victory over East Stroudsburg in Thursday's 2021-22 home-opener in the Sports Center.  The Mountain Cats won all 10 bouts, including Brock Biddle's pin at 174 lbs. and Dillon Keane's technical fall victory at 165 lbs., to improve to 2-0.
 
Back-to back major decisions gave the Mountain Cats a quick 8-0 lead.  Matt Siszka, ranked 11^th at 125 lbs., dealt Joshua Jasonowicz a 12-1 loss, and Mason Myers followed with a 10-2 win over Jayson Scerbo at 133 lbs.
 
Caleb Morris followed with a, 10-4, decision over Zach Lewis at 149 lbs., before 2021 All-American and sixth-ranked Jacob Ealy jumped out to an early lead in a 9-3 victory over Eric Falleni at 149 lbs.
 
Pitt-Johnstown kept it going.  At 157 lbs., East Stroudsburg's Alex Leon took a 2-0 lead on Nate Smith, but Smith stormed back to outscore Leon by 15 points the rest of the way to lock up a 21-9 major decision and increase the Mountain Cat lead to 18-0 midway through the match.
 
Keane's 18-0 technical fall victory at 4:45 over Sergio Cespedes at 165 lbs., followed by three-time All-American and sixth-ranked Biddle's pin at 2:00 to defeat Sczar Charles at 174 lbs. pushed it out to 29-0.
 
An 11-3 major decision win at 184 lbs. from Gage Arnold, Dakoda Rodger's 12-5 decision at 197 lbs., and Isaiah Vance's injury default win over Nick Nittoli at 285 lbs., closed out the 42-0 win.
 
With the loss, East Stroudsburg slipped to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the PSAC.
 
Pitt-Johnstown will host a non-conference match against seventh-ranked Ashland on Friday, December 10 at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center, before traveling to the 2021 Midwest Classic in Indianapolis on December 18 and 19.
