
The Pitt-Johnstown softball team closed out its 2021 campaign with 10-0 and 7-4 PSAC Western Division setbacks, Friday afternoon at Gannon.
Stacey Walling connected for a homerun in game to for the Mountain Cats, who finished at 9-27 overall and 8-22 in the PSAC West.
Seven Pitt-Johnstown seniors put their Mountain Cat uniforms on for a final time on Friday. They include:

Kristen Coffay,
Sydney Flinn,
Bree Ginther,
Kristie Radvan,
Jade Stubblefield, and
Stacey Walling.
In game one, Kaity Stocker hit a pair of homeruns to lead the Golden Knights to the 10-0, five-inning victory.
Gannon struck for five runs on six hits in the bottom of the first. Maria Taliani doubled home a run and Stocker followed with a two-run homer to left to make it 3-0. Jules Ryan and Lea Coffman added RBI singles to increase it to 5-0.

Stocker's second homer of the day, a three-run shot to right-center in the Gannon half of the second pushed it out to 8-0.
The Golden Knights added two more in the third and went on to the 10-0, five inning victory.
Rebecca Tatone got the win for Gannon and improved to 10-2 after allowing just two hits, singles to
Jade Stubblefield and
Lauren Gohacki.
Alyssa Hileman fell to 4-8 after allowing eight runs on nine hits over the first two innings.
Ashley Pagliei pitched the final two innings for Pitt-Johnstown and gave up two runs on four hits.
Stocker hit a pair of homeruns and drove in five Taliani had three hits and two RBI for the Golden Knights.
In game two, Gannon erased an early 2-0 deficit with three runs in the second and four more in the third and went on to the sweep with the 7-4 win.
Pitt-Johnstown jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first when
Tori Radvan scored on a Gannon error, before
Kristie Radvan's RBI base hit up the middle the middle scored
Stacey Walling.
Gannon answered with three in the bottom of the second, highlighted by Lindsay Schmidt's two-run homer, the take the lead.
Taliani's solo homer with one out in the Gannon half of the third made it 4-2, before the Golden Knights added three more in the inning, including Lyndsey Lakatos' pinch-hit two-run single to right-center that made it 7-2.
The Mountain Cats narrowed it to 7-4 with two runs in the fourth, but that was close as Pitt-Johnstown could get. Walling led off with a solo homer to center and
Kristie Radvan reached on a Gannon fielding error.
Laura Fox pinch-ran for Radvan and scored on
Ali Belgiovane's double.
Walling homered and scored two runs, and
Tori Radvan had two hits and scored a run for Pitt-Johnstown.
Bree Ginther and Belgiovane each doubled, and
Kristie Radvan and Stubblefield had one hit apiece.
Kristen Coffay suffered the loss and slipped to 4-10 after giving up seven runs on 12 hits in six innings. Coffay also struck out six and walked two.
Katie Sidare picked-up the win in relief Tatone after holding the Mountain Cats scoreless on three hits in 3.2 innings in the circle.
Taliani and Schmidt each homered for the Golden Knights, who improved to 24-12 overall and 23-9 in the PSAC West.
