John Paul Kromka garnered his third PSAC West Men's Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week honor on Monday after averaging 23.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 5.0 blocks in three Mountain Cat PSAC victories last week.
Kromka, a two-time PSAC West Defensive Player of the Year, also averaged 2.3 assists and 2.7 steals per game and shot 75.7% (28-37) from the field and 14-20 from the free-throw line.
In Monday's 86-64 home win over Edinboro, Kromka scored 23 points, grabbed five rebounds, made five steals, and blocked three shots, before adding 20 points on 9-10 field goals, four rebounds, four steals, and a game-high five blocks in Wednesday's 92-73 PSAC Crossover victory at Mansfield.
Kromka ended the week with a team-high 27 points (8-11 FG, 11-14 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two steals, and a game-high seven blocks in Saturday's 89-85 Alumni Night win in the Sports Center against Seton Hill.
Kromka was also selected the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week on November 15 and December 6.
