Seton Hill built a 3-0 lead on their way to a 6-0 PSAC Western Division victory over the Pitt-Johnstown men's soccer team. The Mountain Cats fell to 1-6-1 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
Fletcher Amos, George Demetriades, and Brice Gandhi scored first-half goals in the 17th, 32nd, and 43rd minutes, respectively, to help the Griffins build a 3-0 lead. Seton Hill added three more goals in the second half, including Gandhi's second of the day in the 79th minute, to set the final score at 6-0.
Pitt-Johnstown goalkeeper Jacob Tichnell faced 31 shots and made eight saves.Â
Seton Hill improved to 3-7-1 overall and 2-1-1 in PSAC play with the victory.Â
The Pitt-Johnstown men's soccer team will return to Johnstown to face Penn State New Kensington on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown soccer field.
