After a pair of weekend road matches, the Pitt-Johnstown volleyball team returns to the Sports Center on Tuesday when it hosts the PSAC West leading Clarion golden Eagles. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.

Interim Head Coach Justin Haupt and the Mountain Cats are 8-18 overall and 1-11 in the PSAC West after a 3-1 setback at Slippery Rock on Friday and a tough, 3-2, loss at Seton Hill on Saturday.Â
Mallory Pinske and
Lualis Alvarado combined for 28 kills against the Rock, before Alvarado added a match-high 21 kills and Pinske tallied 13 kills against the Griffins.

Coach Jennifer Herron, suffered a 3-0 loss at California (PA) on Friday, before sweeping Slippery Rock, 3-0, on Saturday.Â
Cassidy Snider had 19 kills and
Julia Piccolino had 14 kills in the win over the Rock.

On Sept. 30, Pitt-Johnstown visited Clarion and the Golden Eagles earned a 3-0 victory

Hailey Barden's 13 kills.Â
Alvarado's nine kills led the Mountain Cats, while
Abi Leitner,
Natalie Lippincott, and
Pinske all had five kills.

Pitt-Johnstown travels to a PSAC West match at Indiana (PA) on Friday, before closing out the regular season with home conference matches against Mercyhurst on Nov. 4 and Edinboro on Nov. 5.
