John Paul Kromka collected his sixth PSAC Men's Basketball Western Division Defensive Athlete of the Week honor when the conference announced this week's accolades on Monday.
In a pair of games last week, Kromka, also a two-time PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Year, averaged 15.0 points on 14-20 shooting, 8.5 rebounds, 6.0 defensive rebounds, 4.5 blocks, 3.0 assists, and one steal.
Kromka scored 18 points on 8-10 shooting, grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds (eight defensive rebounds), dished out six assists and blocked a game-high nine shots in last Wednesday's 74-57 win at Seton Hill.
On Saturday, Kromka scored 12 points (6-10 FG), pulled down five defensive rebounds, and made one steal in a 72-64 loss at No. 3 IUP on Saturday.
Previously this season, Kromka was also named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week on November 15, December 6, January 24, February 7, and February 14.
