Joey Maun each drove in runs, but East Stroudsburg came away with a 7-2 victory over the Mountain Cats to open a three-game, non-conference series in East Stroudsburg on Thursday. Pitt-Johnstown is now 6-4-1.

Asher Corl to give the Mountain Cats a 1-0 lead, before Anthony Torreullas's solo homer off in the East Stroudsburg second quickly tied it at one.
The Warriors took the lead with a run in the third, then added three more in the fifth to go on top, 5-1.

After East Stroudsburg increased it to 7-1 in the seventh, Maun singled-home
Tyler Smith in the Mountain Cat ninth to set the final at 7-2.
Pasone went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Smith added two hits, including a double, for Pitt-Johnstown.
Dylan Broderick also added a pair of hits.
Six Mountain Cats pitched in the series-opener.
Brando Souders took the loss after surrendering a pair of runs (1 earned) on just one hit in 2.2 innings.
Pitt-Johnstown wraps-up the three-game, non-conference series at East Stroudsburg with a doubleheader on Friday, before the Mountain Cats make their 2022 home debut with a non-conference doubleheader against Salem (WV) on March 19 at 1 p.m. at Point Stadium.
