Maddie Flowers to jump out to a 3-0 first inning lead.

Staten Island answered with a run in its half of the first, before the Mountain Cats built the lead to 5-1 in the third on run-producing hits from
Hailei Markee and
Olivia Porter.

After the Dolphins battled back to tie it at five with a run in the fifth and three more in the sixth, Pitt-Johnstown followed with the eventual game-winning run in the top of the seventh.Â
Laura Fox pinch ran for Santillo ahead of Flowers' sacrifice bunted that moved Fox from first to third base.
Cassidy Kern then drove home Fox and Pitt-Johnstown secured the one-run victory.
Santillo went 3-for-4, while Porter added three hits, and
Tori Radvan collected two hits for Pitt-Johnstown. The Mountain Cats also got an RBI apiece from Mendicino, Mooney, and Flowers.
Alyssa Hileman tossed a complete-game, fanned two, and didn't allow a walk to earn the win in the circle for the Mountain Cats.
