Pitt-Johnstown sophomore right-hander Kayla Miehl was named the PSAC West Pitcher of the Week by the conference office on Monday after tossing a complete-game, three-hit shutout at Indiana (PA) last Tuesday.

After IUP dealt Pitt-Johnstown a 9-0 loss to start a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday, Miehl, who made her first start of the year in the nightcap, limited the Crimson Hawks to just three hits in a 4-0, complete-game shutout.  Miehl struck out three and walked one.
