John Paul Kromka's dominance continued to show after he was named the PSAC Western Defensive Athlete of the Week for the fifth time this season when the conference office announced this week's award winners on Monday
In three games last week, Kromka averaged 15.0 points on 17-20 shooting and 12-15 from the free-throw line. He also averaged 4.7 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, and 1.7 steals.
In Monday's 73-66 win at Gannon, Kromka scored 16 points (5-11 FG, 6-8 FT), grabbed a team-high eight rebounds, blocked a game-high four shots, dished out an assist and made a pair of steals.
He followed that up with a team-high 21 points (9-12 FG, 3-5 FT), three rebounds, two steals, a block and an assists in Wednesday, 70-60, loss at top-ranked Indiana (PA).
Kromka finished his week with nine points (3-7 FG, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, five assists, game-high four blocks, and one steal in a 78-75 win over Seton Hill in the Sports Center on Saturday.
