On a night Pitt-Johnstown Athletics welcomed back alumni, families, and friends, the second-ranked Mountain Cat wrestlers didn't disappoint the large crowd in the Sports Center.  Pitt-Johnstown took advantage falls from No. 13 Caleb Morris (141 lbs.), No. 8 Nate Smith (157 lbs.), and Oggie Atwood (285 lbs.) dealt 19^th-ranked Kutztown a 37-9 PSAC loss, to improve to 13-0 overall and 5-0 in the conference.
 
In the opening bout at 125 lbs., Pitt-Johnstown's 15^th-ranked Trevon Gray won by forfeit, before Kutztown cut the deficit in half with KJ Fenstermacher's, 5-2, decision over Dajauhn Hertzog at 133 lbs.
 
However, it was all Mountain Cats after that.  Pitt-Johnstown quickly broke it when Morris pinned Trent Thompson at 3:58 at 141 lbs. and No. 1-ranked Jacob Ealy won by forfeit at 149 lbs.
 
Pitt-Johnstown's Smith followed by pinning Sean Smith at 4:39 at 157 lbs. to increase it to 24-3, the Golden Bears answered with Dalton Gimbor's 9-5 win over No. 11 Dillon Keane at 165 lbs.
 
At 174 lbs., 13^th-ranked Alex Weber scored an 8-2 decision win over Hunter Horton to make it 27-6.
 
In a battle of nationally ranked wrestlers at 184 lbs., Kutztown's ninth-ranked Matt Weinberg defeated Pitt-Johnstown no. 11-Brock Biddle, 7-0, but the Mountain Cats closed it out strong.
 
Tenth-ranked Dakoda Rodgers dealt Tyler Fisher a 10-2 major decision loss at 197 lbs., and Atwood set the final at 37-9 with Pitt-Johnstown's third fall of the night.  Atwood pinned Dustin Swanson at 4:03.
 
With the loss, the Golden Bears slipped to 6-4 overall and 2-3 in the PSAC.
 
The Mountain Cats travel to Shippensburg for a PSAC match on Tuesday, before returning home to celebrate Senior Night with a conference match against Mercyhurst next Friday at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center.
