After weather caused several postponements, Pitt-Johnstown and Gannon will make-up their PSAC Western Division doubleheader, Wednesday afternoon at V.E. Erickson Complex.  Game times are slated for 2 and 4 p.m.

Prior to Tuesday's conference doubleheader at Seton Hill, Coach Niki Cognigni-Pecora's, 7-9 overall and 2-2 in conference-play, split a pair of PSAC Western division games with Edinboro, Sunday afternoon at Central Cambria High School.  After dropping the opener, 4-1, Pitt-Johnstown bounced back with a 6-2 win in the nightcap behind Julia Mooney's two RBI, Mia Smith's complete-game in the circle.

Coach Michelle Wiley's (5th Year) Gannon Golden Knights were 3-13 overall and 2-2 in the PSAC West before Tuesday's doubleheader against Clarion.  The Golden Knights visited Indiana (PA) on Sunday and split a doubleheader.  Gannon suffered a 4-3 loss in game one, then earned a 4-3 victory in game two on Josie Spano's fielder's choice RBI in the 10th inning.

Last season, the Golden Knights swept a pair of games from Pitt-Johnstown in Erie on April 14.  Kayla Miehl belted a solo homer and drove in two, but Gannon took game one, 5-3.  The Golden Knights completed the sweep with a 2-0 win in the nightcap behind Lea Coffman's sixth-inning two-run home run.

Pitt-Johnstown travels to PSAC West doubleheaders at Mercyhurst on Friday, and Slippery Rock on Saturday, before returning home to host a non-conference doubleheader against Salem (WV) on Monday at V.E. Erickson Complex.
