The Pitt-Johnstown team will host a PSAC West doubleheader against Mercyhurst, Friday afternoon at V.E. Erickson Complex.  Game one is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
 
Pitt-Johnstown, under Coach Niki Cognigni-Pecora, was 11-23 overall and 6-16 in the PSAC West prior to Thursday's conference doubleheader against Seton Hill.  The Mountain Cats have split their last three PSAC doubleheaders, including a 3-1 loss and a 6-1 victory against Gannon on Saturday.  In the nightcap, Kayla Miehl homered, Tori Radvan drove in three, and Mia Smith scattered five hits in the complete game.
 
Coach Leanne Baker and the Mercyhurst Lakers, 21-17 overall and 11-9 in the PSAC West prior to a make-up doubleheader against Slippery Rock.  The Lakers look to bounce back from a pair of losses to California (PA) last Friday and 5-3 and 5-4 losses to Seton Hill on Saturday.
 
Pitt-Johnstown and Mercyhurst met in Erie on April 2, and the Lakers came away with 9-1, and 11-3 wins.
 
Pitt-Johnstown travels to Slippery Rock for a pair of conference games on Saturday, before hosting PSAC West doubleheaders against Indiana (PA) next Friday and Clarion for Senior Day on April 29.
