Head Coach Erick Kinsey and the Pitt-Johnstown men's soccer team will make their 2023 home debuts on Monday against Goldey-Beacom (NJ) College. Kick-off is set for 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
Pitt-Johnstown is 0-1-0 after a 2-0 loss at Washington Adventist (MD) last Monday. Saturday's match at Shepherd (WV) was suspended due to weather with the Mountain Cats on top 1-0. The match will be completed on Oct. 30.
Coach Ryan Dixon's (11
th year) Goldey-Beacom squad is 1-2-0 after getting second half goals from
Cameron Michalak,
Oliver Person, and
Brandon Delgado in Wednesday's 3-1 win over Staten Island.
Goldey-Beacom holds a 4-1 advantage in a series that dates back to the 2013 season. In the last meeting, the Mountain Cats traveled to Wilmington, DE and suffered a 7-0 loss on Sept. 7, 2017.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to Penn State-New Kensington for a non-conference match on Sept. 19, before opening PSAC West action against Seton Hill on Sept. 26 at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
