Paige Greathouse boasted a 25^th-place finish in a field that featured over 370 runners to lead the Pitt-Johnstown women's cross country team at Saturday's 49^th Lehigh University Paul Short Run.  As a team, the Mountain Cats finished 30^th in a field of 36 teams.
 
Adelphi's Katherine Marsh (22:08.7) and Isabel Marsh (22:15.5) placed first and second, respectively, but Coast Guard won the 2023 team championship with 104 team points, three points ahead of second-place RIT.
 
Paige Greathouse's time of 23:34.8 gave her a 25^th-place finish and a 26^th overall finish for the Mountain Cats.  Jenna Smith was 136^th (145^th overall) at 25:31.5, while Alexandra Walton (26:16.8) was 175^th and 203^rd overall, Ava Barker (27:25.8) placed 210^th (277^th overall), and Lacey Greathouse (28:55.0) finished 231^st (326^th overall) to round out Pitt-Johnstown's Top-5 runners.
 
Following Coast Guard and RIT was Cortland State (173 points), Catholic (190 points), and Scranton (221 points) to close out the first five teams in the 36-team field.
 
Pitt-Johnstown travels to the Bloomsburg Invitational on Saturday, before competing in the 2023 PSAC Cross Country Championships in Bloomsburg on Oct. 21.
