Pitt-Johnstown was limited to three hits in an 11-0 setback in five innings to Bentley (MA) in the final Spring Game on Friday in Florida.

Freshman Addison Hilligsberg was charged with the loss after surrendering eight runs—six earned—on six hits and two walks in three innings of work. Julie Shinavski tossed an inning in relief.
Freshman Meghan McDonough recorded a hit and drew a leadoff walk, but never reached third base on either occasion. Tori Radvan had a hit and Kayla Miehl added a single in her only at-bat of the game.
Meanwhile, after playing to a scoreless tie through two innings, Bentley posted five runs on five hits. The Falcons then scored six more runs on five hits in the fourth to set the final.
The Mountain Cats will have three days to prepare for the start of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference play when they open up with a doubleheader at California (Pa.) on Wednesday starting at 2:30 p.m.
