The Mountain Cats, now 12-1 on the season, defeated the Pioneers 25-23, 25-16, and 25-15.

After Natalie Lippincott's kill helped Pitt-Johnston open up a 13-10 first set advantage, Point Park answered with a 7-0 run to go on top 17-13 on an Eden McElhaney kills and a Mountain Cat attack error.  Pitt-Johnstown clawed back and outscored the Pioneers, 12-6, the rest of the way.  One of Mallory Pinske's six first set kills tied it a 19, and an Adiamar Beaz service ace, followed by an attack error gave the Mountain Cats the narrow, 25-23, win.

In the second set, Pitt-Johnstown broke an 8-all tie with six unanswered points and never looked back.  Point Park got as close as 17-13, but the Mountain Cats pushed it into double figures at 24-13 on back-to-back kills from Lualis Alvarado, before Lippincott's kill gave Pitt-Johnstown a 2-sets-to-none lead with the 25-16 victory.

The Mountain Cats maintained the momentum and never trailed in the third set to close out the sweep.  The Pioneers narrowed it to 14-9, but Pitt-Johnstown scored the next six points, including a kill by Carloine Knight, to push it out to 19-9.  Knight then closed out the 25-15 win with two straight kills.

Pinske had nine kills in just 11 attacks for her .818 hitting percentage, while Alvarado added seven digs to go along with her nine kills.  Pitt-Johnstown also got six kills from Brooke Pelloni, and five kills and a pair of blocks from Dannika Susko.

Point Park, which dropped to 1-8, was led by Giulia Follador's five kills.
