Mayah Charity picked-up a pair of top-three finishes to lead the Pitt-Johnstown women's track and field team to a sixth-place finish at Saturday's Muskinghum Muskie Indoor Meet No. 2 in New Concord, Ohio.
Ohio Northern captured the team championships in the 16-team field with 219 points. The Mountain Cats were sixth with 38.5 points.
Charity placed second in the 200-Meter Dash at 26.66 and third in the 60-Meter Dash at 7.98.
In other running events, the Pitt-Johnstown 4,000-Meter Distance Medlay Relay Team of
Audra Fedor,
Ava Menzies,
Ellie Zuro, and
Ava Barker finished on top with a time of 13:42.61. Barker also placed fifth in the 800-Meter Run at 2:27.74, while
Sydney Dunn finished fifth in the 5,000-Meter Run at 20:564.54.
The Mountain Cats also got a third-place finish from
Natalie Lippincott (1.59 Meters) and a eighth-place finish from Zuro (1.51 Meters) in the High Jump.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to the Susquehanna Riverhawk Showdown on Feb. 7 and the Susquehanna Invitational on Feb. 15.
