Emma Morin made 10 saves for the Mountain Cats, but Indiana (PA) notched a pair of goals in the final 14 minutes to lock up a 2-0 PSAC Western Division victory over the Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team, Wednesday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.  The Mountain Cats slipped to 2-8-4 overall and 2-8-2 in league-play.
 
After a scoreless opening half, Elle Smith set up an Emily Lattea goal with just under 14 minutes remaining to play to give the Crimson Hawks the lead.
 
Lattea then finished another assist from Smith three minutes later to give the Crimson Hawks an insurance goal and set the final at 2-0.
 
Morin saw 18 shots from IUP and made five saves in each half, but allowed both goals.
 
Sarah Gatz and Serayah Leech each played 45 minutes in net for the Crimson Hawks and held Pitt-Johnstown scoreless to share the shutout.  Gatz faced one shot and made a save in the first half, while Leech saw three shots from the Mountain Cats in the second half and made two saves.
 
With the win, IUP improved to 12-2-2 overall and 10-1-1 in the PSAC Weset.
 
The Mountain Cats will close out the 2025 regular season with PSAC road matches at Seton Hill on Saturday and at California (PA) on Nov. 5.
