




Head Coach Justin Haupt and the Pitt-Johnstown volleyball team will celebrate Senior Day and wrap-up the 2025 regular season with a PSAC Western Division match against California (PA), Saturday afternoon in the sports Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Prior to Friday's matches, Pitt-Johnstown and Cal U were in a four-way tie with Seton Hill and Clarion for third-place in the PSAC Western Division. The top four teams will earn a spot in next week's PSAC Tournament.
The Mountain Cats were 15-9 overall and 6-6 in league play before Friday's match at Seton Hill. Pitt-Johnstown got a career-high 19 kills from
Caroline Knight and 16 kills from
Ellie Zuro Cirino in a 3-0 sweep at Slippery Rock last Friday. Last Saturday, the Mountain Cats suffered a five-set loss at Clarion. Zuro Cirino collected 18 kills and Knight added 17 kills against the Golden Eagles.
The Vulcans, 19-9 overall and 6-6 in the PSAC West, had won four straight matches prior to Friday's home match against Indiana (PA).
Makayla Neelands and
Reilly Parent each had 13 kills to lead Cal U to four-set win over Edinboro last Friday, before
Kasey Smith had 13 kills in last Saturday's 3-1 victory over Gannon.
The Mountain Cats and Vulcans met in California on Oct. 10 and Cal U came away with a three-set win. Knight had a match-high 15 kills and Zuro Cirino tallied 1k kills for Pitt-Johnstown, while
Olivia Weiserman and
Elisa Rugiero finished with 13 and 11 kills, respectively for the Vulcans.
Following Saturday's Senior Day match, Pitt-Johnstown will wait to see if they earn a spot in the PSAC Tournament that begins with the quarterfinals on Tuesday, and finishes with the semifinals and finals next Friday and Saturday at the highest remaining seed in the PSAC Eastern Division.
