Oscar Trilles Monferrer was named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's Team when this year's awards, voted on by the district's sports information directors, was released on Wednesday.
Trilles Monferrer will now advance to the national ballot for consideration for First, Second, or Third-Team Academic All-America honors, which will be released on Dec. 16.
The CSC recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Trilles Monferrer, a three-year starter at center back for the Mountain Cats has a 3.89 overall GPA in Management and Marketing.
A native of Castrellon, Spain, Trilles Monferrer started 15 matches for Pitt-Johnstown in 2025, had a pair of goals and four points on six shots.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
