Women’s Soccer Closes out 2025 Season With 0-0 PSAC Draw at California (PA)

Morin, EmmaFor the second time this season, Pitt-Johnstown and California (PA) battled to a 0-0 PSAC Western Division women's soccer draw.  In Wednesday's season finale in California, Emma Morin faced 11 shots in the rain and wind and made a pair of saves to record her third shutout of the year.
 
Pitt-Johnstown's season came to an end with a 2-9-5 overall record and a 2-9-3 mark in conference-play.
 
The Vulcans and Mountain Cats also finished in a 0-0 draw at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field on Oct. 8.
 
Pitt-Johnstown had an opportunity to take the lead eight minutes into the second half, but Katie Wiley's shot struck the left post, and neither team was able to find the back of the net after that.

Sarah Henry and Kristen Horgan each had wo shots to lead the Mountain Cats.
 
Morin saw eight of the 11 shots in the opening half and made both saves, while Cal U goalkeeper Autumn Bishop made three saves on five shots from the Mountain Cats in the first half.  Kaleigh Rexroad played the final 45 minutes in goal for California and faced three shots and made one save to share the shutout with Bishop.
 
The Vulcans closed out the season at 2-12-3 overall and tied with Pitt-Johnstown in the PSAC West at 2-9-3.
