Pitt-Johnstown senior forward Liv West was named the PSAC Western Division Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week on Monday after collecting career-highs of 35 points and 12 rebounds to help the Mountain Cats storm back from a 15-point second half deficit to defeat West Virginia State, last Tuesday in the Sports Center.

West, who accounted for 16 straight Pitt-Johnstown points to begin the second half, finished with 35 points on 12-21 shooting, including 6-10 from behind the 3-point line and 5-5 from the charity stripe.  She also pulled down a career-high 12 points, dished out four assists and made two steals in the Mountain Cats' 83-79 victory over the Yellow Jackets.
