A pair of first place finishes courtesy of Mayah Charity and Audra Fedor highlighted the Pitt-Johnstown women's track and field team's visit to the Mount Union Tune-Up Invitational on Friday.
Charity claimed first out of eight competitors in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.88 seconds. She also was runner-up in the 200-meter dash after checking in at 26.15 seconds.
Fedor captured first in the 5000-meter run with a time of 19:05.00, a little over two seconds in front of a runner from Clarion. Ava Barker took home 8th in the 800-meter run (2:25.96). Ella Miller was 15th in the mile run, checking in at 6:11.09 seconds.
Meanwhile, Aiden Lechleitner had the top performance of the day for the men's team after claiming a runner-up finish in the mile run with a time of 4:29.54. He also placed 10th in the 800-meter run (2:06.42).
Nathan Mienke finished third out of 13 competitors in the 3000-meter run (9:10.54).
Domenion Jacobs also captured a third-place mark in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.45 seconds. Michael Ifidon scratched out a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter dash at 7.06 seconds. Jacobs took sixth in that event after checking in at 7.16 seconds.
Damian Blum achieved fifth place in the 400-meter run with a time of 52.77 seconds. Marcello Legister came in 10th in the 200-meter dash at 23.34 seconds.
As for the field events, Isaiah Dyer came in seventh in the triple jump (12.49 meters), while Noah Ser tied for seventh in the high jump (1.90 meters). Hunter Johnson was 8th in the long jump at 6.37 meters.
The 2025 PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championships are set for March 1 and 2 at Lehigh University's Rauch Fieldhouse in Bethlehem.
