The Pitt-Johnstown men's and women's track and field teams collected a combined eight top 10 finishes at West Virginia University's Marty Pushkin Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Morgantown.
Mayah Charity secured a runner-up finish out of 30 competitors in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.47 seconds. She also earned 4th place honors out of 22 in the 200-meter dash, checking in at 26.16 seconds.
Freshman Ava Menzies was 18th in the 100-meter dash at 13.78 seconds. Fellow freshman Rihanna Hillegas wasn't far behind in 22nd at 14.09 seconds.
In the women's 1500-meter run, Ava Barker checked in at 16th after finishing in 5:23.25. Audra Fedor nearly matched that pace at 5:24.72 to finish 18th. Ella Miller was 19th at 5:26.92, and Sydney Dunn was 27th after posting a time of 5:41.31.

Meanwhile, a runner-up finish at 59.17 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles for Charlie Levander was the highlight of the men's performances.
Nate Thomas claimed sixth in the 400-meter hurdles after checking in at 1:00.96
In the 100-meter dash, Marcello Legister took 12th place at 11.55 seconds. Nicholas Legnine was two-tenths of a second off that pace in 14th place with a time of 11.57 seconds. Freshman Daniel Presto was clocked at 11.85 seconds and was 19th out 36 competitors.
Senior Noah Lee checked in at 9th place (52.04 seconds) out of 32 runners in the 400-meter run.
As for the field events, Bridger Blankenbicker captured a 5th place mark in the pole vault at 4.10 meters. John Yahner was close behind in 6th place with a performance of 3.95 meters in the final.
Bryson Hetz posted up at 7th place in the javelin after tossing it 46.93 meters.Â
Both teams will be back in action at the Carnegie Mellon Invitation scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 28-29 in Pittsburgh.
