Natalie Lippincott secured a runner-up finish in the high jump to pace the Pitt-Johnstown women's track and field team at Saint Francis University's Red Flash Open on Saturday. She leaped 1.64 meters, but fell in a tiebreaker to Duquesne's Caroline Garbe.
Ellie Zuro earned a 3rd place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.45 seconds. Zuro, who also took 11th place in the long jump, was 5th in the 400-meter hurdles at 1:04.56. Kara McKenzie checked in at 6th in the same event with a time of 1:05.55.
Mayah Charity finished 5th in the 100-meter dash, earning four points with a time of 12.67 seconds.
Pitt-Johnstown will compete at Slippery Rock's Last Chance Meet on Friday ahead of the PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships scheduled for May 8-10 at Slippery Rock.
