Mayah Charity, Ellie Zuro Earn All-Conference Honors at PSAC Outdoor Track Championships

Charity, MayahZuro, EllieMayah Charity placed third in the 100-Meter Dash, and Ellie Zuro finished third in the 400-Meter Hurdles to earn all-conference honors and lead the Pitt-Johnstown women's track and field team to a 12th-place finish at this weekend's 2025 season-ending PSAC Outdoor Championships in Slippery Rock.
 
Slippery Rock took home the PSAC team title with 171.0 points, 74 points better than second-place Millersville's 97 points.  The Mountain Cats were 12th in the in the field of 14 teams with 29 points.
 
Charity earned her all-conference honor with a third-place finish in the 100-Meter Dash at 12.02.  Charity also placed fourth in the 200-Meter Dash at 23.57.
 
Zuro joined Charity on the all-conference list by placing third in the 400-Meter Hurdles with a time of 1:03.17.
 
Zuro also finished fifth in the Heptathlon with 4,448 points.  She won the 100-Meter Hurdles (15.07), 200-Meter Dash (25.54), and 800-Meter Run (2:27.19), finished fourth in the High Jump (1.54m), sixth in the Javelin (27.96m), 10th in the Long Jump (4.78m), and 12th in the Shot Put (8.70m).
 
Pitt-Johnstown teammate Natalie Lippincott came away with a fourth-place finish in the High Jump at 1.66m, while Audra Fedor and Sydney Dunn finished 19th (40:42.11) and 20th (40:44.82), respectively in the 10k, while Ava Barker was 22nd in the 3,000m Steeplechase at 12:46.91.
 
The 4x100-Meter Relay Team of Ava Menzies, Kara McKenzie, Rihanna Hillegas, and Charity placed sixth at 49.45, and the 4x400-Meter Relay Team of Charity, Barker, McKenzie, and Fedor finished 14th at 4:16.13.
 
On the men's side, the Mountain Cats' 4x100 and 4x400-Meter Relay Teams secured points with seventh and eighth-place finishes.
 
The 4x100 Team of Nick Legnine, Marcello Legister, Hunter Johnson, and Cristian Thornton placed seventh with a time of 42.42, and the 4x400 Team of Thornton, Legister, Damian Blum, and Noah Lee placed eighth at 3:20.19.
 
East Stroudsburg claimed the PSAC Men's Team Championship by holding off Shippensburg, 165.5 points to 148 points.  The Mountain Cats were 13th in the 13-team field with three team points.
 
Along with the relay teams, Aiden Lechleitner placed 13th in the 3,000 Meter Steeplechase (10:03.24), and John Yahner was 15th in the Pole Vault (4.21m).
 
In addition, Noah Ser was 17th in the High Jump at 1.85m, and Johnson was 19th in the Long Jump at 3.58m.
 
Thornton qualified for the 400-Meter Run, and Nathaniel Thomas and Charlie Levander both qualified for the 400-Meter Hurdles, but did not reach the finals.
