Audra Fedor finished ninth in a field of nearly 50 runners to guide the Pitt-Johnstown women's cross country team to a fourth-place finish at Saturday's Youngstown State (OH) University Invitational.
Gannon claimed the championship in the six-team field with 42 points, 11 points better than second-place Clarion.
Duquesne's Gina Bolla earned individual medalist honors with a time of 18:23.64.
Fedor led the way for the Mountain Cats at 20:02.59, while
Sydney Dunn was 14
th at 20:57.92.
Ella Miller placed 16
th at 21:20.49, and
Ava Barker (23
rd, 21.47.45) and
Ava Menzies (30
th, 22:51.07) rounded of Pitt-Johnstown's top-five runners.
Reagan Michelski was 41
st at 24:34.14.
Following Gannon and Clarion were Youngstown State (65 points), Pitt-Johnstown (86 points), Fairmont State (WV) (135 points), and Seton Hill (137 points).
Pitt-Johnstown goes to the Lock Haven Invitational next Saturday and to the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Oct. 11.
