Head Coach Eric Kinsey and the Pitt-Johnstown men's soccer team will kick-off the 2025 season with a non-conference match against Goldey-Beacom, Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer field.

The Mountain Cats, led by seven seniors in 2025, are coming off of a 3-13-1 overall record a year ago.  Pitt-Johnstown returns eight of its top-nine leading scorers from last season, including Jack Moyer, the team leader in goals (5) and points (12), and Anson Portzline, who finished second in goals (4) and points (8).

Goldey-Beacom comes in at 0-2-0 following a 6-1 loss at Pace (NY) to start the season on Thursday, and a 3-1 setback at the University of District of Columbia on Saturday.

The Lightning hold a 5-2 advantage in the series that dates back to the 2013 season, including a 4-1 win over Pitt-Johnstown last year on Sept. 14, 2024 in Wilmington, Del.

The Mountain Cats visit Washington Adventist (Md.) on Sept. 19 to begin a stretch of three straight rod matches, before returning home to host a non-conference match against Central Penn on Sept. 27 at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
