Jimmy Quinn scored the opening goal, and goalkeeper George Pasko made nine saves as the Pitt-Johnstown men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw at Lock Haven to earn its first PSAC West point, Wednesday afternoon at Hubert Jack Stadium in Lock Haven.
Pitt-Johnstown (1-7-2, 0-3-1 PSAC) struck first at 24:44 when Calvin Kingrey sent a pass to Quinn, who finished for his first goal of the season and a 1-0 Mountain Cat lead.
Lock Haven answered at 37:11 when Noah Brady scored off assists from Austen Veach and Adam Isardat, and the teams went to halftime tied 1-1.
The second half belonged to Pasko. Lock Haven put 12 shots on net after the break, and Pasko turned away eight of them to keep the match level. He finished with nine saves on the afternoon, and Pitt-Johnstown held the Bald Eagles scoreless over the final 45 minutes.
